Some of you will of noticed that the Everglide web site has changed and is now an "opening soon" page .. but fear not, we have managed to agree continued sponsorship from what some would call the best mouse pad maker available ..

by: Slave | Signup's for SavLAN6 have now gone well past the 200 mark which, given that we only have space for 175 paid players, is going to mean that entry into the event will be on a first pay, first in basis .. find out how to pre-pay and guarantee you place here ..
I'm pleased to announce SavLAN6 is to be sponsored by Beyond Gaming, a gaming cafe situated in the middle of Coventry. This means we have up to 10 machines at SavLAN6 to hire out to spectators .. so even if you've not been able to bring your PC to the event you'll still be able to play your favourite game :)
Here's what Beyond Gaming have to say about themselves on their web site:The aim of the centre is to create an environment for people of all ages to meet in a friendly place to play computer games. The shop consists of around 22 computers. All these computers will be linked up to the Internet and have the latest computer games installed on them. Customers can play online or against anyone in the shop across the network .. The cost of using these high end gaming machines is as follows:
Per Hour: £5
One Day Booking: £30
Two Day Booking: £50
Three Day Booking: £60
Please note that this does not include the cost of your spectator ticket. (£5 per day)
For peace of mind Beyond Gaming are members of the Virtual Gamers Alliance (VGA), an association of gaming cafes around the UK so go and check them out!

by: Slave | With payments now starting to arrive on my doorstep things are starting to move along nicely for, what looks to become, the best SavLAN yet ..

by: Slave | UPDATE!: A mail has now been sent to all players on the signup list reminding them that payment is now required as well as details of how to book their seating, if you have not received a mail and you have signed up please mail me and I'll send you a copy.
Coming to SavLAN6? If you are and you want to get there as cheap as possible then now's the time to send in your payment ..
Given that we have space for 175 people and 171 people have signed up this is looking to be our busiest SavLAN yet .. prepayment is the only way to make sure your space is guaranteed.
As always we've been working hard in the background to confirm sponsors for the event and I hope to start announcing sponsors over the coming week .. more news soon .. :)
